Worked w a bunch families in Crown Heights/Bed Stuy TEN years ago whose homes were in foreclosure. Worst conditions I’ve ever seen, fires, etc.
But it was folks home and tenants were working to seize the bdgs, rehab, become CLT; we fought the bank and the landlord and won! 1/2

But a shady broker/deed theft situation blocked the deal/stole the bdgs out under from them.
